Hana Cultural Center

When you arrive in today’s Hana, you have already stepped back in time by visiting the most isolated and tradional town in the state.  Visiting the Center takes you even further back into the town’s past.  Established by kupuna (elders) to perpetuate Hana’s tradional way of life and to honor the Hawaiian cultural Renaissance, our museum house many ancient artifacts, such as Hawaiian quilts, poi boards, various stone implements, as well as fish nests and fish hooks.  Come and see us when you get the wonderful town of Hana!
